whoa ... love the macro shots!!
the caterpillar looks really interesting! :)

Happy WW

Marc

Thanks Maiylah. The caterpillar is a tomato hornworm with parasitic wasp cocoons attached to him. The first pic is a black widow and the second is a blister beetle. I'm not sure about the other two, but all of them were photographed in my garden.

Pearls of Wisdom

Great Photos. I will have to come back and show my son he's six and loves bugs..LOL Thanks for sharing. Happy WW.

Amazing Gracie

I've squished too many widows to be real comfortable around them but that is a gorgeous photo! My dad taught me when I was younger how to test a spider's web to see whether or not it was a widow's web. You can pluck them, they're so strong!

G R O S S!!!!!!!! I hate bugs but those are some pretty awesome pictures.

Thanks so much for visiting My Photo Blog.

In a word- AWESOME!
in two words- ooh! ick!

Fantastic shots. I am really impressed. I will be back later when my 3 year old is up from his nap to show him these. He's gonna love 'em!

I actually jumped when the first picture loaded. I'm not exactly scared of creepy crawlies, but seeing them this close is definitely creepy. Kudos for getting close enough to take pictures!

Patois42

Okay, as with Charlotte's Web, they don't creep me out when it's up close and personal (and in a photo). Great photos.

I love these. Amazing variety and great pictures.

Rayne

Fantastic macro shots here. You do have a busy garden. Will the wasp cocoons end up killing the caterpillar?

The World In The Eyes Of Brothers

Stunning pictures, but really creepy. I hate spiders and snakes. I avoid them at all cost.

The Plaid Sheep

Fabulous. Bugs are pretty cool. And we wouldn't be here without them.

Dragonheart, Merlin, Devi, and Chloe

Those are great shots! Very nicely done. I'm glad that I haven't run into any of those, but if I did, I'd probably try to play with them. ;)

Paula
